Yvonne Josephine Terrell's Obituary
Yvonne Josephine Terrell "Granny", 86, of Jackson Michigan, passed away June 3, 2024, at Highland Assisted Living. Yvonne’s family and friends will gather from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2024 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home). Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024 with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jeff Sheeks will serve as celebrant.
She was born on November 14, 1937, in Jackson Michigan to Howard Hostettler and Josephine Hobbins. Yvonne graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1956. She worked in administration for Jackson Public Schools for over 30 years. Yvonne loved music and reading. She enjoyed thrifting at garage sales and gambling at casinos. Yvonne loved her cats. She was a huge Michigan State Fan.
Yvonne will be missed by; her children, Larry (Susan) Terrell, Tammy Rowley, Kristy Rentschler, Rob Terrell, Tracy Terrell, and Susie Terrell; sister, Cerise Karpinski; grandchildren Jeff, Alan, Scott, Jennifer, Melissa, Roy “Chubbs”, Jason, Curtis, Jessica, and Brett; and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Josephine, and husband, Charles “Shike”. The family would like to thank Highland Assisted Living and Heart to Heart Hospice.
