Abe and Vivian were our closest friends for over 50 years. Glen first met Abe while working at Sears, and remained good friends after retirement. Their son David and our son Jeff grew up together and were best buddies. Jeff met David at Jackson Baptist School, and later transferred to Mt. Hope Baptist School, where they graduated together. Abe and Vivian opened their home to a country graduation party, for the boys, hosted by them and us. Whenever Abe or Glen needed a helping hand each was there for the other, until the job was done. Both always gave us spiritual support whenever needed. Abe and Glen enjoyed, going through old tools and dividing them up. Neither one could have too many tools in their possession. What I remember most about Vivian was her enjoyment, of short-sheeting another unsuspecting lady at camp. As Vivian and Abe entered the end of their life, Becky and David answered the call for help. They remained care givers for Abe, sat by his side until he took his last breath. We know it was a difficult journey for them, and Abe was fortunate to have them through his hospice care. God will reward them someday, for the unselfish and unrelented care they gave to their dad. Our condolences go to Abe and Vivian's children; David, Becky, Barbara, Carol, Ron, and the rest of the Craft family, will remain forever in our thoughts and hearts.
