Asberrie "Abe" Craft's Obituary
Asberrie “Abe” Craft, Age 89, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023. Abe’s family and friends will gather at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Loomis Park Baptist Church, 2301 N Elm Ave, Jackson, MI 49201. His funeral service will be at 11:00 am following the visitation.
He was born on October 19, 1933, in Gagee (Jackson County), Kentucky to Creed and Martha (Whittaker) Craft. Abe married the love of his life, Vivian, on June 1, 1966, and celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage. He will be remembered as a very generous, and a humble man. He was always willing to help anyone no matter what the problem was. Abe enjoyed tinkering with cars and especially loved to go out with his buddy for tow truck calls. Abe was also a devoted follower of Christ at Loomis Park Baptist Church.
Abe will be missed by his children, Dave (Becky) Craft, Ron Craft, Barbara Bertz and Carol Marsh, his brother Ray Craft, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Abe is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vivian and his parents, Creed and Martha Craft.
