We've had over 30 yrs of friendship, and we were to have 30 more. I recall the day I brought butter home. Bill was over at the house visiting when I walked in with her. Knowing how big of a Cat lover he was, i never expected he would take me up on it, So I joked about him wanting a dog/her. He said no, but he clearly liked her. Fast forward many months, Bill calls me explaining how he had to just have his last kitty, put to sleep and he wondered If that "offer" was still available, I asked, What Offer? Mind you, It had been 4 or more months since we had her, and now he was asking for my rescued pomeranian that we've already fallen in love with. I told him No, but he didn't stop asking, actually, almost begging for her. He even tried to make me feel guilty because I had 2 other dogs. He explained how she'd have a better life on the lake than what we could give her. 🥰
After all this, and him asking, basically begging for her, we knew he'd love her as we did, and actually, he needed her, so we gave in and gave her to him, and she became the love of his life. I do have to say he kept his word, She had the best life and best Daddy any pup could ask for. Bill, words cannot explain the emptiness we have in our life and in our hearts without you here. We pray you're now healthy and happy. We love and miss you dearly. Until we meet again, Mike & Julie
