Charles Floyd Schiel, 83, of Manchester passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Chelsea Hospital. Charlies’ family and friends will gather Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchest Read Obituary
Charlie worked with my Dad and Double A. I remember lots of visits to their home as a family and vise versa. He was always friendly and had great stories. We will always remember my older sister freaking out because Charlie "spit in the barn" his chew. Rest easy Sir 💞☀️🙏 Lots of love, light, healing prayers to the Schiel Family.
Murlin Watne I worked with Charlie a number of years at Double A Products in Manchester. We had alot of laughs together. And talked about farming. He was a good man.
I got to know Charlie early on in my career with the Washtenaw County Department of Veterans Affairs (1974-2012). A true patriot to his core, Charlie could always be counted on to support and participate in veteran related activities throughout Washtenaw County and beyond. Charlie and his wife, Joanne personally made sure veteran's gravesites at Manchester cemeteries were properly identified for all official holidays. His dedication to his Country and his family was ever present as was his unique sense of humor. Often times, I would be hard pressed to to determine if he was serious with an offering or joking as his stone face, straight ahead stare would leave one not sure...thinking about that now, brings a smile to my face. Thanks Charlie for your tireless efforts - now Rest In Peace.
