I remember David's love for fishing and his great singing too. David cared for his mother during her later years visiting her often and stay overnight at times. She loved having him with her and our many conversations were about David. My prayers are with the family because I know how much he was loved. May God begin to give you comfort and peace remembering all of the wonderful times you shared together.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I know it is a great loss. He was loved by all who knew him. He was great to work with at Wheelock pharmacy we had a lot of laughs together. He was a very kind man one that you can be proud of. May his memory live on forever rest in peace, my friend.

A majority of my fishing stories are with Disco Dave Schaefer. I enjoyed the weekly phone calls for the lake fishing report as well as getting hollered at from Dave who would be down by the lake on his boat going extra slow in front of my house hoping I would come out to fish. He enjoyed happy conversations with friends more than fishing and that’s a lesson I’ll keep with me forever.
