David Allan Schneider, 79, of Brooklyn, MI, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospital. David’s family and friends will gather for a celebration of life and Memorial gathering from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., on Sunda Read Obituary
I will always remember David at Somerset fire department as well as all of the good times we had at the trailer park.David always had a smile. He loved his wife Pat and all 3 of you kids.
Pat, keep the memories and all of the good times that you had. May you feel the loving arms of Jesus as you go through this weekend.

David was a good person who was always helping others. We knew David when he lived in Somerset Township and worked as a firefighter. When he was the Fire Chief and I was the Clerk, I had to work with him on certain things, like the budget and he always showed great concern for others and the work that the Fire Department did for the Township. We never heard a bad word about David. And specially to Pat, we say remember all the good times!
Dave was one of the first to welcome Kevin and I to the neighborhood when we bought the house next door to him and Pat. Many hours were spent in good conversations with Dave over the back yard fence. He was so kind hearted and we enjoyed talking with him. He will be missed and remembered. Kevin and Bonnie Kirkpatrick

Dave and I were repairing their roof in Brooklyn. We had to remove a piece of plywood due to some rot. I turned around and Dave was gone. He had fallen through the hole I just told him to be careful around.
Luckily Dave was a tough old sob and after a couple of minutes he was ok. I am sure he was sore for a while after!
Dave was good people. He will be missed.
Dave was a good man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Praying for all of the family with much love and remembrance
