Diane got me interested in the Girl Scouts when my daughter could be a daisy and I could be the adult leader of the troop. She saw the interest and curiosity I had and encouraged me to learn about starting a day camp for a week in the summer in Manchester. Daycamp for both girls and boys from first grade through middle school was a big success and continued for several years. She was always willing to help or advise. She was a terrific organizer. She knew the community and its needs and the people that could help address those needs.
Diane and Bill are sorely missed in Manchester. Their energy and dedication is difficult to find. I’m sure you have been told this by everyone that knew them. I just needed to let you know how much I admired them and will continue to remember them.
