Aunt Doretta was not only ‘fun sized’ but the center of fun as well. You always knew when she was in the room. She was the first one to come up, give you a big hug and say “awe! how ya doing sweetie - so good to see you!”. Her exuberance and light hearted nature helped her endure trials in her life, making her a champion in my book and an example to imitate in many ways. She was a hard worker and a fighter - looking forward at the horizon to capture one more sunrise or sunset. Her absence will be felt by so many. Heartfelt condolences to all, especially Mike, Jazzy, Eric, Sean, Doreen & Jim, Denise & John, Jerry & Donna, Daryl and Diana & Dennis - sharing in your grief. 💔
Oh Doretta. My pal, my confidant, my friend for so many years. You were a shining light your whole life. I remember you bouncing down the hall during both junior high and high school, greeting everyone you met with such joy!
You made everyone's day brighter. Through the years we met when we could and picked up right where we left off.
