Frances Michelle Knight's Obituary
Frances Michelle Knight 53, of Redford passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Trinity Health-St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor. Frances’s family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
She was born on June 6, 1970, in Farmington Hills, Michigan to Paul and Patricia (Kidd) Standtke. Frances married Jack Knight in 2001, in Livonia, Michigan. She will be remembered as a very selfless, caring person that would do anything for you and was always there for you. Frances is a 1988 graduate of Cass Technical High School and a Detroit Business College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She earned many awards over the past 4-5 years as a top performer in her field. Frances also was the main caregiver for her husband, Jack and mother, Patricia, making it possible for them to stay at home. Family was everything to Frances. Her nephew, Eric, was her joy. She spent her free time planning trips with Eric and a few of his friends going to places such as Disneyland and Kalahari Resorts. Through it all, Frances had her cat “Daisy”, which she adored. Frances will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Frances is survived by her husband, Jack; her mother, Patricia; siblings, Paul (Kristie) Standtke and Imogene (Mike) Micklea; nephews, Eric and Paul III; nieces, Alina and Brookelynn; a great nephew, Carmello; and a special cousin, Michelle. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Standtke, Sr.
