Grace L. Miller's Obituary
Age 97, of Michigan Center, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 29, 2020 under the loving care of her family, personal caregiver Karen Halliwell and the staff from Heartland Hospice. Grace is survived by two daughters, Sue (Larry) Garred of Hubert, MI and Lori (Gary) Stack of Michigan Center; four grandchildren, Heather Sztaba, Jessica (Zach) Kanaan, Nicole (Curt) Auel and Kristopher (Jenn) Shenefield; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria (Don) Patterson of Jackson and Diana Kent of Canada; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Miller in 1966; and siblings, Erwin "Sonny" Masters, George "Bubby" (Jacquelyn) Masters and Ruby "Nikki" Masters. Grace was a strong woman with deep family values. She raised and supported her daughters by herself from when they were quite young. Her family was always her number one priority throughout her life and was her greatest joy. She was a long-time employee of Jimmie's Towing, from where she retired at the age of 83. Grace was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Napoleon, 108 East Ave, Napoleon where a funeral service to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Reggie Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at Arthur-Day Funeral Home and on Wednesday morning at church beginning at 10 am.
