Talking about his grandchildren always made Uncle Greg smile, they are his world!
I took Uncle Greg up north to go trail riding on our dirt bikes. I'd been telling him stories of some of my dirt biking adventures and he looked me dead in my eyes and said he wanted to try and hang with me and my buddies in the trails! Long story short, Uncle Greg found out we were more hardcore than he assumed. I decided earlier on that I would ride behind him in case he crashed. Well he had a pretty bad crash and I had to lift his bike off him, he never showed that he was in pain but he had actually fractured his ankle. Even though he came home injured, he talked about that trip up until he passed away and I'm forever thankful we shared that trip together.
Uncle Greg allowed me to move in with him right after I was discharged from jail. He took a chance with allowing me into his home, a chance most would have never considered and I'm forever thankful for his act of kindness towards me.
Uncle Greg taught me if you want something, you need to work for it. And his level of organization was next to none!

Greg was such a nice guy and I always felt apart of the family over there with Ashely. Much love to all of you, hugs and prayers you find comfort during this difficult transition!
