Dear Joan, As you know Jean was a big part of my life in Michigan Center. We started out as Brownies and went on to become Girl Scouts together. Jean was very smart in school, so smart that school was boring to her, but she also had a wild and crazy side too. Jean was loads of fun, especially after we got our driver's licenses. Jean loved John Lennon and I always thought he made a big mistake marrying Yoko instead of Jean! Later in life Jean was diagnosed with MS and things become very difficult for her. The fact that she died on her birthday tells me she is at peace now. I will miss her. I am so sorry for your loss Joan, but you can be so proud of yourself the way you took care of your sister to the end. I know it wasn't easy for you.
