Played together a lot as young kids
I liked the times that I would stop in at Capone’s Pizza or Bob Evans to have some food and catch up with Jimmy. He always seemed happy to have his family stop in to say hi. Jimmy would go out of his way to make your meal and dining experience the best that it could be while you were there. He loved his family.
I recently purchased two of his Michigan Wooden Ducks that he made. One for me and one for my son Dustin that we both love and will cherish even more now that Jimmy is gone.
When arriving at the reunion, it would be Dan and Jimmy and then I would get there after them. I always enjoyed catching up with Jimmy for a bit until everyone else would arrive. I will surely miss seeing Jimmy this year at the reunion. It won’t be the same without him.
To Cheryl and Jimmy’s family I am so sorry for your loss. Jimmy was a great man and brother. He always had a smile and made you walk away feeling happier that you got to talk to him and catch up. Jimmy you will be greatly missed by all that knew you.
I know that you are with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Peace be with you! Amen
Jimmy will always be remembered for his loyalty to his family. He loved gathering them together for a meal, and some conversation. I remember the day of fishing with him in Somerset, man did we catch the fish! He knew where to go so we could catch a lot of em. And he had a smile when we would bring them in. I know he had a deep faith in God and showed it by helping others when the need arose. Our love and prayers goes out to Cheryl and his family may we honor Jimmy’s memory by helping others daily.
