Kozar, JoeLivonia, MichiganHis Legacy... Joe Kozar, Age 90, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2019. He was born on March 23, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles L. and Frances (Barcic) Kozar, Sr., Joe married the love of his life, Anna Robley-Hunt, on February 14, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan where he became step-father to Anna's five children and together they had a daughter Jacqueline in 1956.Joe served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War as a Military Policeman from 1953-1955. He worked for the city of Livonia until retirement. Joe enjoyed baseball as a youth and later golf and bowling. He loved playing catch and tennis in the street with his children. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. His Family... Joe will be missed by his children, Jacqueline (Keith) Gray, David (Mary) Hunt, Bill (Nancy) Hunt, Diane Szostek, Sylvia Jennings and Elaine (Jerry) Wilson; a brother Steve Kozar, two sisters Mary Murdock and Josie Halkiewicz; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 47 years, Anna and brothers Charles, Johnny and Nick Kozar. His Farewell...
