Mrs. Korican was a remarkable woman, human and one of my best and favorite teachers EVER!! Along with Mr. Korican. My deepest sympathy Mr. Korican and to your children for you're loss. May God give you his peace and I pray I get to see you again someday. If not please know I've never forgotten either of you or the kindness and belief in me you both showed me as a child. I think God I was touched and allowed to share part of my life in the presence of such great people. I carry your teachings with me proudly and daily. May God be with you all in your time of grief. If you would like to reach me. My number is 734 686 0282. Call anytime.
All my love,

To John, we want to express our deepest sympathies to you and your family. When we joined Emanuel, Mary was among the first to welcome us. We have been honored to know her (and you) in the years since then, she is missed. Alan and Arlene Hanson
How fortunate the children of Manchester were to have Mary teaching here. I loved serving on committees with her--short, quick, and to the point. Condolences, thoughts, and prayers to John and family. --Sheryl Purol
I have fond memories of Mary as my 6th-grade teacher. Although as I matured, I came to know Mary as a friend. Her warm smile, art of conversation, and keen wit made her a true joy to share an evening of playing bridge with. Time after time, I looked forward to my next opportunity to beat the best. Mary had a keen perception, cunning composure, calculated contrivance, artistic humor, and of course competitive banter. Everything thing you could hope for in mentor and nemesis. Godspeed Mary. My prayers are with the family.
John and Family, we have some great memories of knowing Mary during many events at Britton. Our sympathies are with all of you. God Bless you and your family.

Mary was my daughters 6th grade teacher and I clearly remember Connie coming home and saying”We have so much fun in Mrs Koricans class but she still makes us behave-and we learn stuff. “ connie went on to be a teacher herself in no small part because of the wonderful teachers she had growing up in the Manchester school district.
We are so sorry for your loss, John. Your Parkside family is thinking of you and praying for you. Hugs to you and your family.
Mary was always there to greet us when we visited Michigan. She and John came, always bringing great food, joining us, Mick and Linda, to Barb and Jerry's house for hours of fun. We will miss you, Mary. Hugs, Stan and Cathy Kozij
