Penny was an incredibly beautiful, kind, loving, and joyful person! Although I haven't had the pleasure of seeing her in many years, I remember how she treated me as her equal and made me feel important (even though I was her younger cousin and probably annoying). I'm certain she carried those admirable qualities forward throughout her life and many more people felt her warmth, love, and acceptance. My sympathies to her family, friends, and all who cared for this wonderful lady. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry for your loss. While I did not know Penny personally, I have also recently lost a close loved one to a long battle with cancer. I know how hard it can be. It helped me to think about the promise of the resurrection where we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again. I know the pain you feel now is hard to bear, but may the happier times of so many years, help calm the grief and pain that you feel.
