Penny May Bentley's Obituary
Age 59, of Sandstone Township, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice after a long and valiantly fought battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Todd Alan Bentley, one son, Brandon A. (Katelynn) Harbaugh, stepchildren, Chris Bentley and Stephanie Bentley, ten grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Larry Heckaman, Sheryl Heckaman, Patti Heckaman, and Rob (Kathy) Heckaman and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donovan (Monica) Heckaman and Margie (Cooley) Heckaman-Green. Penny had a long career as manager of the Wesco Gasoline/Convenience Stores in Brooklyn and on Lansing Avenue in Jackson. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday 22, 2018 at 11 am with Chaplain Greg Grotbeck, (HFA Hospice) officiating. Interment Norvell Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 5-8 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society.
