Philip Gregory Storrs' Obituary
Philip Gregory Storrs was a truly wonderful man whose adventurous spirit, easygoing nature, and kind heart touched the lives of so many people. Phil was the kind of person who made others feel comfortable and welcomed, and he had a heart of gold. His kindness, humor, and genuine love for the people around him will be deeply missed.
Phil loved life and enjoyed making memories, especially with his family. He was an avid boater who loved spending time on the lake and embracing the lake life he enjoyed so much. He also loved traveling with his wife, Jenny, and sharing new adventures and experiences together. Whether on the water, traveling, or simply spending time with the people he loved, Phil knew how to enjoy the simple moments that made life special.
Phil is survived by his loving wife, Jenny; his daughter, Kacey; his granddaughter, Luna; his daughter, Michelle, and son-in-law, Derek, and their children, Hannah and Haley; his son, Andy, and Andy’s son, Cayden; his bonus daughters, Hannah and Josie; his sisters, Mary Jo and Cindy, and Cindy’s husband, Ron; his dear friends, Rich, Patty, and Sid; as well as many other loving family members and friends who were fortunate enough to know him.
Phil was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa; his mother, Peggy; his father, Richard; his brothers, Mike, Mark, and Richard; and his brother-in-law, Bill.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Henry Ford Hospice for the comfort, care, and peace they provided to Phil and his loved ones during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Henry Ford Hospice in Phil’s memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 1:00 p.m. at the Michigan Center Eagles, located at 302 5th Street, Michigan Center, MI 49254. Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate Phil’s life, share memories, and honor the wonderful man he was.
Phil was a kind, loving, and easygoing man who brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around him. He was gone far too soon, but the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of the many people who loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
