Terry Robert Seames' Obituary
Terry Seames, age 69, of Manchester, Michigan passed away at home on July 14, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Terry is survived by his wife and best friend, Bridget; son, Joshua; daughter, Megan; son-in-law, Sean; sisters Patti and Dawn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry’s life-long career in law enforcement began with campus security at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, the School of Police Staff and Command, and the FBI National Academy, he retired as a Captain after 30 years of service with what became the University of Michigan Police Department. More recently, he served as an officer and dispatcher with the City of Saline Police Department.
The fourth of five children, Terry grew up in Lapeer and stayed close to his large family by camping and bonfires, a builder’s license and carpentry, and beer making.
Terry was predeceased by his brother, Mike; sister, Wendy; and parents, Bob and Yvonne.
Terry’s friends and family will gather Friday, August 2, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel, with his funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm.
