My thoughts and prayers are with Joe and all of Wendy's family. She was a fantastic women and friend. I am so grateful to have worked with her and to have spent time with her and her family in Alpena. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing and am so sorry that she is no longer with us. May she rest in peace in heaven.

I am so very sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. She was an amazing woman, coworker and friend, whom I had the good fortune of working with for many years, at both Lafarge and US Silica. She was serious in her work but fair, dedicated but fun loving, strong but caring. Her love for her family was clear in every conversation and in everything she did.

I've only had the privilege of working with Wendy for a very short period of time before her retirement. I first met Wendy on a Teams call as she interviewed me for my current role. I heard how tough she could be and was prepared for the worse. To my surprise she was absolutely very kind and comfortable to speak with. I can just tell that she was just direct and there is nothing wrong with that. We have spoken, traded emails and IMs a few times prior retirement. Thank you for your support Wendy.
Wendy had worked hard and earned a great retirement with her family and friends. I'm sorry that it has been cut so short. God must have great plans for Wendy and I know she will not let him down.

Wendy was an awesome boss and loved immensely by her team. She looked out for me when my wife was sick and she listened to concerns, taught and mentored. Words cannot describe the loss and the pain you and Wendy’s family is going through.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend and longtime colleague, Wendy. I had the privilege of working alongside her at US Silica for over a decade. During those years, I not only witnessed her significant dedication to the company but also had the pleasure of getting to know Joe and Reiley. My heart goes out to you both and the entire family in this difficult time.
Wendy was truly a cornerstone of our team, embodying our Core Values we strived for every day. Her commitment was unmatched—her work ethic inspiring. Whether it was early morning calls from myself or late-night emails, Wendy was always there, ready to lend her expertise and support.
