Thomas Stoddart
To the family of the late Billy Burton affectionately known to us by his surname "Burton". This message of condolence is from Thomas a member of the Stoddart Family who were very close neighbours of the Caldwells almost like family when we all stayed in Abbeyhill, Edinburgh, Scotland.I was very sad to read of the passing of Burton, it ignited a lot of childhood memories. Burton and Elizabeth were like big brother and sister to my sister Susan and myself.
The families kept in regular contact first when Alex and Ann moved to the USA, then Burton and Elizabeth followed. It wasn't until my own mother's passing then Elizabeth's contact faded.They both died far too young but the happy memories live on.I post a couple of photos of these times.
